Looking Through a Telescope Into The Future: Trump's Trip Could Shape Next 50 Years

LaRouchePAC Monday Update - November 6, 2017

As German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in a speech he gave in Singapore last week: "We should look through a telescope into the future..." In an open letter by Helga Zepp-LaRouche in response, she highlighted the significance of Lyndon LaRouche's book, "Earth's Next Fifty Years," in which she stated "LaRouche anticipated the entire, currently visible shift of the strategic dynamic to Eurasia and defined the higher level of thinking, on which the peaceful cooperation of mankind can take place." It is with this perspective that we look forward to the upcoming summit between Presidents Trump and Xi Jinping, which the Chinese press is anticipating will be a "historic success" and which President Trump himself characterized as "one of the more important trips that a president has made." The opportunity for the United States to join the win-win future defined by the New Silk Road is on the table. Were President Trump to "look through the telescope of the future" and seize this historic opportunity, it would be one of the greatest watershed moments in history, and would indeed shape the future of the planet for at least the next fifty years to come.
