A great, and largely continuing catastrophe for all modern science throughout the world, had begun, in Paris, France, at the opening of the Twentieth Century. It had been launched by a somewhat, scientifically weak-minded David Hilbert, delivered from the platform of that Year 1900’s International Mathematical Congress, held in Paris at that time.
