Under the watchful eye of the British Empire and the Obama administration, Ukraine, now under control of neo-fascists and those who are virulently anti-Russia, has created a breakdown situation vis-à-vis the gas and water supply in the region.
Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, earlier this year wrote a lying letter to Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), in which she asserted, for the record, that there was no reason to be concerned about vociferous anti-Semtism and neo-nazism in the parties that the Obama administration was backing in Ukraine.
At least as provocative as events inside Ukraine, is the deployment of NATO military assets into and around the Black Sea. As we have previously reported, the destroyer USS Donald Cook entered the Black Sea on April 10.
Dr. Natalia Vitrenko, chairman of the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, today issued an urgent call for world powers to support "peaceful negotiations" to defuse the situation in southeastern Ukraine, rather than unquestioningly supporting the coup-installed Kiev regime and its announced "special operation."
While the western media, led by the anti-Russia neo-cons, are busy instigating a full-fledged conflict with Russia over Ukraine, some diplomatic efforts are afoot to try to cool down the situation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be visiting Beijing on April 15.

Victoria Nuland's man in Kiev, Prime Minister Arseni Yatsenyuk, ventured into the city of Donetsk—a hotbed of anti-coup protests—Friday, for a three-hour visit, where he announced a set of measures reportedly (by Britain's Independent) designed to prevent the country from breaking up.
