Two More Pennsylvania Cities Pass the HBPA Resolution

November 23, 2007 (LPAC)--Two more cities in Pennsylvania, Erie and Monessen, have passed resolutions endorsing HBPA and HR 418. The texts are the same as the New Castle, PA resolution, except for the last two paragraphs.

Here are the last two paragraphs of the Erie resolution:

WHEREAS, said Act would benefit the citizens of Erie and protect their assets during this period of financial unrest that is leading to home foreclosures in record numbers; so

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA, that the Erie City Council and the Administration urges our Federal Officials to support the measures suggested in Pennsylvania House Resolution 418.

Here are the last two paragraphs of the City of Monessen resolution:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Monessen, Pennsylvania, that the City of Monessen Council and the Administration urges our Federal Officials to support the measures suggested in Pennsylvania House Resolution 418.
