Geochange Journal Publishes LPAC's "Planetary Defense" Report

The just-released, second issue of the international scientific journal "GEOCHANGE" includes the 45-page report, "Planetary Defense: An Extraterrestrial Imperative," written by the Lyndon LaRouche's scientific research team, "The Basement." The 2012 Basement report is probably the most scientifically revolutionary presentation of the subject of planetary defense in existence, starting from a view of the galactic and inter-galactic conditions involved, and working down from there. The fundamental premise is an understanding of the universe as inherently anti-entropic, and thus not only always changing, but developing to higher states and higher rates of activity. Many basic assumptions of physics, biology, geophysics, astrophysics, etc. are challenged in this report, available here. The GEOCHANGE Journal is available here.

The GEOCHANGE journal represents a large international collection of scientists and thinkers, including many whose views challenge standard reductionist assumptions in science (many of these scientists would be labeled as "dissidents" or "fringe thinkers" by mainstream academia). This includes a heavy focus on the role of cosmic forces influencing the changes experienced here on Earth, and a healthy criticism of the claims that mankind's activity is what is changing the Earth's climate. In 2010, GEOCHANGE organized an open communiqué delivered to the heads of dozens of governments, parliaments, and international organizations, warning of increased natural disasters and cataclysms globally over the coming years. This communiqué was signed and supported by many dozens of scientists from dozens of nations. The current forecast of the GEOCHANGE organization is for 2013-2014 to be a peak in global natural disasters.
