Pass HR129 To Restore Glass-Steagall

On the very first day of the new Congress, Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) re-introduced her “restore Glass-Steagall resolution” (Formally HR 1489) into the house of representatives as HR 129. In the 112th Congress, Marcy Kaptur’s Return to Prudent Banking Act gathered more than 80 congressional co-sponsors, garnered massive bipartisan support, and drew endorsements from a wide range of unions and other institutions. Now that the bill has been re-introduced, the top priority for the federal government, for activists & organizers, and for American patriots around the country must be to support this bill and get it passed.
