Obama Allying with Al Qaeda Terrorists; Moves to Increase Arms to Syrian Rebels
July 24, 2012 • 8:02AM

The Obama Administation is increasing lethal aid to Syrian rebels and will openly move toward direct military support of the Syrian opposition fighters that are carrying out daily attacks, including massacres of civilians, report a number of Washington-based intelligence sources. Even though U.S. intelligence knows that the most active Syrian fighters are affiliates and co-thinkers with Al Qaeda, the White House is so frustrated and determined to get rid of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad—without Congressional approval, or even UN Security Council approval, that they are increasing—with the Saudis—the pace of arming the Al Qaeda. This makes all the more urgent the impeachment and/or removal by other Constitutional means of Barack Obama from the Presidency.

And, says Lyndon LaRouche, Obama should be removed before the September 3rd Democratic Party Convention.

Obama's current operations in support of the Syrian rebels include: training fighters, providing communications and targetting information, aiding the Saudi Arabians and Qataris in choosing which rebels to arm and ensuring the weapons arrive—which is forbidden according to the UN Security Council's ceasefire plan related to the Kofi Annan mission, and training and educating some 40 members of several Syrian opposition group to take over the Syrian government, "the day after" President Assad is ousted from power.

It walks like a duck, quacks like a duck — and it is what it looks like: a covert war to overthrow the head of a foreign government. And most importantly, the military means are being given to the Saudi-Qatari-British controlled Salafis, who will create "rivers of blood," not only in Syria and Iraq where it is already happening, but in the next target — Lebanon.

Obama's conduct already should trigger the immediate passage and enforcement of Rep. Walter Jones' House Concurrent Resolution 107, "Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under Article II, section 4 of the Constitution." If we wait any longer, the covert war will turn into another full-scale illegal war without Congressional approval; a war that means thermonuclear confrontation with Russia and China.

TRAINING OF A GOVERNMENT TO REPLACE PRESIDENT ASSAD: For the last six months, 40 senior representatives of various Syrian opposition groups have been meeting in Germany under the tutelage of the U.S. Institute for Peace (USIP) to plan for how to set up a post-Assad Syrian government, reported journalist Josh Rogin in The Cable blog of Foreign Policy magazine. The project is partially funded by the State Department and run by Steven Heydemann, an "academic" expert on Syria. Today, July 23, Heydemann appeared on Capitol Hill at the Middle East Policy Council, where he argued for the U.S. to have a direct relationship with the armed opposition to accelerate the end of Assad (see slug in Southwest Asia). His project is called "The Day After," but Heydemann gloats that "other groups" are working on "the day before."

DAILY MEETINGS AT THE WHITE HOUSE TO OVERTHROW ASSAD: According to "top U.S. officials," cited by journalist Jason Ditz in antiwar.com, on July 23, "the White House is now holding daily high-level meetings about ways to aid the various rebel factions in the Syrian Civil War, as well as contingency planning for their own military action to seize Syria's chemical weapons arsenal."

OBAMA IN BED WITH BRITS AND PRINCE BANDAR: With Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan now head of Saudi intelligence, the neo-Salafi killers will be receiving all the resources they could want, along with marching orders to not only take over in Syria, but next target Lebanon for sectarian war. Bandar and the Brits are promising the U.S. that once Assad is thrown out, Saudi Arabia will "dismantle" the neo-Salafi killers. "That is complete nonsense," reported a high-level Middle East analyst who has studied and opposed Islamic fundamentalist extremism for decades. "Nobody can control the neo-Salafis. And if the U.S. falls for this, the result will be 'rivers of blood,' as we now see in Iraq. Today, hundreds of people, mostly Shi'ites, were killed by Al Qaeda in Iraq [the number at 7:00 PM was 160 people—mjs], and who arms AQI? The Saudis. This U.S. policy is insane and must be fought tooth and nail."
