This segment on precision agriculture was prepared as part of the Feburary 13th, 2012 edition of Biospheric Engineering · Planetary Defense of Humanity.

Our extended sensorium on the ground, in the air, and in space now gives us the capability for more depth of observation of the land than we've ever had before. With these new senses, we can tailor our approach to managing all aspects of our tillage with precision: Presicion Agriculture.

In this segment, we examine the use of this capability in identifying crop stress on the farm as one of many present and potential applications of our extended sensorium in the art of biospheric engineering.
