There is No Coverup; There's Only Cowardice

This morning we had a discussion on what the implications are of Obama's administration's continued drive for dictatorship. I'd like to share some of that discussion with you to underscore my previous post Glass Steagall: Nothing But a Morgue List?.

Look at how the Obama administration has gone beyond the Bush administration in treatment of those deemed to be terrorists. The Bush administration captured and tortured many suspected and actual members of Al Qaeda; Obama outright kills with total disregard for the normal procedure of capture, followed by legal prosecution, which is our law. In the case of US citizen Anwar al-Awlaki, as Pentagon correspondent Dana Priest reported, even as the CIA and JSOC were being ordered by Obama to hunt and kill al-Alwaki, the Foreign Minister of Yemen, visiting Washington, was telling American officials that the Yemeni government was actively trying to persuade al-Alwaki to agree to come back to the United States and face conspiracy charges related to the Fort Hood massacre.

The case of Muammar Qaddafi is even more blatant, with gruesome and widely distributed footage showing that Qadaffi was first captured alive, rendering him a POW and deserving of the protections the Geneva Convention outlines, and then subsequently killed without those outlines obeyed.

But with Obama, the policy of kill, not capture, isn't merely an effort to protect state secrets, to snuff out someone before they can give detrimental testimony. It's not unknown that this administration bathes in violations of the Constitution. As Lyndon LaRouche said this past Saturday, there is no coverup; there's only cowardice. So what you're looking at with the Obama administration is the setting up of the justification to nullify law- the justification for increasing degrees of dictatorship by creating general fear among the population, just as the Patriot Act 'found' 9-11 for its justification. If this administration can maintain an environment of terror, anything the administration does flies. So you, your family, your neighbors: everyone is a potential target, and ought to live in fear.

But take this thing with a view from the top. Yes, we have a psychotic president, and yes he's ordering illegal killings of US citizens, illegal wars, and all the rest. But ask yourself. Where does his power come from?

With all of the real crises that do exist in our world now, like the economic meltdown, or the galactic threat that we see expressed in the string of earthquakes over the weekend, with the 7.2 Magnitude earthquake that devastated southeastern Turkey, the Obama crisis is, in a sense, fabricated. For starters, it's a crisis engineered by the British Empire, who are pushing for wars among nations which will result only in global collapse and world depopulation. As an operative of that enemy of all nations, Obama is expendable to them, and could be replaced with another at any time. But it's also a falsified crisis because Obama is only in office and only has power as long as the cowardly congress and cowardly citizenry of the United States allow him to remain in office. The citizenry which voted him into office, and the congress which could file for Obama's impeachment at any moment, all bear the responsibility for what Obama is doing now.

Political courage now is not a question of generating and framing the correct legal argument against Obama. The blood is already spotting his hands. Don't think of arguments, but of the conviction and courage needed to get the job done.
