On October 3, 2011 the Lorain, Ohio City Council passed a resolution for the reinstatement of Glass Steagall through the enactment of H.R. 1489, which they declare to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of public health, safety and welfare of the City of Lorain.
This resolution will be forwarded to all members of the Ohio delegation to the United States Congress and to the Lorain County Building Trades Council.
