Super Volcanoes should be taken into account among the various natural phenomena that present an extinction-level threat to mankind. As with great earthquakes, there is much evidence of solar, galactic, and even extra-galactic forces which influence, effect, and perhaps even determine these phenomena, all of which need immediate investigation if we hope to survive an imminent eruption.
