One of the most active players in the assessment of how to implement Section 4 of the 25th Amendment has been Dr. Jerrold M. Post. For 21 years, Post was a CIA psychiatrist, founding the CIA's inhouse Center for Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior. When he left the CIA, Dr. Post moved to George Washington University, where he still teaches. In one of his seminal studies on the subject of the psychology of political leadeship, Leaders and Their Followers in a Dangerous World (2004), Post devoted an entire chapter to "Narcissism and the Charismatic Leader-Follower Relationship."
