September 1, 2010 • 8:33AM

Lyndon LaRouche's video address to the Ukrainian Student Republic was played to the final closing ceremony Aug. 20, and was chosen as the "best of the best" by the panel of Ukrainian and Russian experts attending the Republic meeting, including political analysts, historians, and others. The 10-minute address, posted on the LPAC website, was broadcast on CCTV, including on a big screen on the Black Sea beach, for maximal viewing.

The annual Student Republic youth festival is attended by hundreds of youth from all over the country. A year ago, representatives of the LaRouche Youth Movement from the U.S. and Germany participated in the Student Republic, and the dialogue has continued.

One of the student organizers of the event said that they were floored by LaRouche's extremely hard-hitting presentation. They considered it very important that LaRouche had taken the time to address this biggest Ukrainian youth event, and with such a pithy, hard-hitting statement. The students were shocked by his bluntness, but "he said true things." LaRouche told the Ukrainian youth, that the time for decision is now; he described the hyperinflationary policy of the US Fed; and he introduced his concept of an international NAWAPA to the group.
