Obama in the Bunker Deaf to Warnings of Democratic Debacle

Sources are reporting to LPAC that, during the Obama family's Martha's Vineyard vacation (their seventh of the year, by some counts), the President was visited by a number of prominent Democratic Party fundraisers and insiders, all panicked over the prospects of a total electoral wipeout in November. According to two sources, both close to the DNC, the visitors tried to get the message through to the President that the polling data does not begin to indicate the depth of rejection of Obama's agenda, and that the President has to fundamentally change his team and his policies, if the party is to avoid an electoral massacre.

According to one of the sources, there is no reason to suspect that the message got through to Nerobama. In fact, the source reported, the President and his inner Chicago circle, were totally obsessed on Saturday with the Lincoln Memorial rally, hosted by Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, which drew an estimated 400,000 people.

Lyndon LaRouche, briefed on the Martha's Vineyard delegations of DNC visitors, asked pointedly: "Haven't they figured it out yet? Obama is not listening, and he never will listen. He is Hitler in the bunker, totally divorced from reality. You can't change this guy. You have to get him out of office, before he does something really rash!"

Things have gotten so desperate that even the Sunday New York Times editorialized, under the headline, "Waiting for Mr. Obama," that Obama has got to come up with a big economic initiative soon, noting that it is already too late to salvage the midterm elections. He needs to announce a "21st century infrastructure" plan. Fat chance!
