LAROUCHEPAC:

The Campaign Fronts: The People Are Responding
August 28, 2010 • 8:32AM

All three LaRouche Democrat campaigns have been on a super-high mobilization, and are finding growing anger with Obama, and increasing attention span among at least a portion of the public.

In the aftermath of Rachel's most recent demolition of Barney Frank — who actually seemed to think he could charm veterans by kissing their ass, while lying to them (where's "don't ask, don't tell" when you need it?)— there were more than 14 squads out each of the last two days, hitting the district with high-visibility rallies, intersection deployments, post office deployments, and taking over the trains with beautiful singing. There are still many clueless Bostonians, but there are also many more coming over to ask what they can do. While it is well established that the hyperinflationary Bailout policy is unpopular here, Rachel's campaign is now engaging citizens in in-depth discussions of the solution, starting with NAWAPA. This will be the theme of a major campaign event on Saturday. It is difficult to determine whether Barney or Obama is the most unpopular figure, outside of Newton. However, even in Newton, one squad was very successful by asking Barney's constituents why he is hiding from Rachel Brown!

In Houston, the American "can-do" spirit is being re-energized by Kesha's campaign, including among younger people on campuses, who are otherwise facing desperate, hopeless situations. With Kesha and her team, bolstered by two new recruits, hammering home the need to replace Obama with the greatest project in history, one that's "even bigger than Texas," there is a high level of agitation among passersby at intersections, and at the campuses. There were 12 at an event at San Jacinto Junior College last night, with pledges from most to join the campaign. Kesha and a campaign organizer met with a union leader later in the day, who made a generous contribution and said he was going to get his union behind Kesha.

In San Francisco, rallies with a 30-foot-by-8-foot banner (one might say it is also bigger than Texas!) are causing eyes to bug, tempers to flare, and excitement to flow. The head of an engineering department at a local campus said he wants to be part of an organizing committee for NAWAPA, and we are activating decades' old LaRouche networks at the area's scientific labs, who are enthused about NAWAPA.

In both Houston and San Francisco, the campaigns have been speaking in many classrooms, announcing the campaigns, and directing people to the NAWAPA maps on the website. In all three locations, what is most impressive is the total sweep of activity, centered around the "One" of LaRouche's forecast, and LaRouche's solution. Beyond the agitation they are tapping into directly, it's clear there is an even higher level of response which is "unseen," as people meet us and then discuss what the campaigns are doing at home and at work.
