Why Green Plants Hate Solar Cells: An Interview with Sky Shields
August 26th, 2010 • 10:44 PM

What does it really mean to be Green? Basement Research team member Sky Shields discusses the implications of the North American Water and Power Alliance. The project's intention to green the deserts and improve the conditions of our planet by regulating the temperature and keeping it cooler, and also facilitating the flow of materials necessary for life processes' sustenance, are just some of the environmental benefits of NAWAPA, while the current view of green policies, like the attempt to spread solar panels throughout the desert, will tend to heat the environment, and kill off and stifle many processes in nature, creating unsuitable conditions for life on our planet. So, don't you want to green the deserts with NAWAPA? If not, you may need to reconsider your idea of what it means to be green.
