LAROUCHEPAC:
Yesterday's Rasmussen Report shows that President Barack Obama has again hit -21% rate of strong disapproval, a tie of his all-time lowest score. This means that only 23% of those polled strongly approve of the job Obama is doing, while 44% strongly disapprove.
Formerly secure incumbent Democratic incumbents are going down in Obama's chains. Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) trails former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson by 47% to 45%, with Thompson still unannounced. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), whose job disapproval rating is -1, is neck-and-neck with two Republican opponents, Tom Campbell and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina. To make matters worse, Obama will go to California to campaign for her.
