LAROUCHEPAC:
Lyndon LaRouche characterized Rep. Dennis Kucinich's endorsement on Wednesday of President Barack Obama's Nazi health policy as "his latest sophistry." Referring to Kucinich as a sophist, LaRouche said that Kucinich is afraid of being accused of being Lyndon LaRouche. He doesn't have the guts of having the dignity of being Lyndon LaRouche. When it comes to courage, Kucinich is a big disappointment. Opposing Obama's health policy was his raison d'etre. He has now lost his raison d'etre. He seems shorter today, because he lost his raison d'etre. When you bend over, you tend to lose height.
Kucinich, who had correctly opposed the Obama legislation as a bail out of the insurance companies and had consistently advocated a single-payer approach, justified his capitulation in a press conference yesterday by arguing that a defeat of the health care bill would have destroyed the Obama presidency. According to Kucinich, "One of the things that has bothered me is the attempt to try to delegitimize his presidency. That hurts the nation when that happens. We have to be very careful," he continued, that "President Obama's presidency not be destroyed by this debate."
