LAROUCHEPAC:

Suicidal Dems Join Nero for Obamacare Rally
March 16, 2010 • 9:27AM

Several Ohio Democrats painted political bullseyes on their chests today when they made the mistake of attending, and allowing themselves to be pointed out by Nero, at an ObamaCare rally in Strongsville, Ohio, 20 miles southwest of the former industrial city of Cleveland. Outside, demonstrators waved placards, including those urging drivers to "Honk to Impeach Obama."

Inside, Obama's performance—complete with prepared remarks released in advance—and that of the audience seemed amateurishly scripted. At one point, nearly on cue, one audience member apparently faints. As she falls to the floor, another shouts out, "Hope you have insurance." Others in the audience laugh. Obama chimes in, "It looks like we've got somebody who might've fainted down there, so if we've got a medic..."

Among the Dem pols who allowed themselves to be coerced into attending was the local Congressman, Dennis Kucinich, who has repeatedly voiced his support for an expanded Medicare-for-All, rather than Obama's Nazi bill, and whose office said he is still "a firm no." As soon as Obama mentioned "Your own Congressman, who is tireless on behalf of working people, Dennis Kucinich," another member of the audience shouted out, "Vote yes." Then, Obama: "Did you hear that, Dennis? Go ahead, say that again." Audience member: "Vote yes."

One of state's two U.S. Senators, Sherrod Brown, and Reps. Betty Sutton, Marcia Fudge, Tim Ryan, and Charlie Wilson also showed up to get measured for their political coffins. The measurements were being taken not by the select audience inside, but by those beyond the guarded doors, the mass strike sweeping the country.

Calling his bill "a patient's bill of rights on steroids," Obama repeated his lies that, "We go after waste and abuse in the system, especially in Medicare.... Every senior should know there is no cutting of your guaranteed Medicare benefits. Period. No 'ifs,' 'ands,' or 'buts.'" Cutting $500 billion won't faze it a bit.

And to further assure those attending the event at the senior center, Obama lied that when his opponents asked about death panels, "Well, that turned out—that didn't turn out to be true."
