LAROUCHEPAC:
All conventional, politically acceptable discussion of so-called "green energy" is incompetent, because it ignores the fundamental physical economic law requiring exponential increase in the rate of energy flux density of power.
Within the incompetent, and ultimately genocidal, framework which ignores such universal law, an article in the Nov. 19 New York Times confirms many of the technical weaknesses of green energy already well-documented here.
Most telling, the head of a California company that is helping to implement Nazi Governor Schwarzenegger's plan to require that 33% of electricity come from "alternative" sources by 2020, confirmed that alternative energy will not replace any of the existing coal and natural gas plants. "All of it will be needed, if the system is to remain stable, and ride through periods of low wind," admitted the President and CEO of California Independent System Operator, Yakout Mansour.
A few other salient points revealed in the Nov. 19 New York Times report by Matthew Wald:
* Experts admit that 15 to 30 percent of total electricity generation from alternative sources is not impossible but would require vast changes in the distribution grid. (Actually it is impossible, because the present U.S. population could not be sustained in the meantime.)
* Merely to meet the requirement that 10 percent of the electricity supply come from "alternative" sources would require that 25 percent of all generating capacity in the system be renewable, mostly wind, according to the North American Electric Reliability Corp.
* To integrate the worthless new wind and solar sources would require doubling transmission line construction from the present 4,000 miles to 8,000 miles a year.
