Statement

These questions come from a group of students at MGIMO, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, which is the university associated with the Russian Foreign Ministry. One year ago, at a seminar on the crisis, held at MGIMO, many students and professors got together to discuss the difference between the "Paulson Plan" for bailout and the "LaRouche Plan" for putting the system through bankruptcy.

1) When will the global crisis end, and what will be the outcome?

Answer: The present world-wide economic breakdown-crisis will end only as a result of what I have identified as the needed four-power change from a monetary system, to a credit system, by the common initiative of the USA, Russia, China, India, and their initial collaborators in this effort. Otherwise, the planet as a whole will continue to plunge into the already onrushing, global new dark age led by London and its accomplices.

2) Would it be possible to establish a single world currency on the basis of depositary receipts, and have it supervised by the IMF? If not, why not?

Answer: The present international monetary system, including the IMF, must be terminated, or else there would never be an economy recovery under the presently existing governments in any part of the world.

3) You talk about the necessity of introducing a new world financial system, since the old one is no longer adequate for the realities of today. But, how can the introduction of a new system be initiated and, most important, when will this happen? (At least approximately.)

Answer: The present world system is the fatal disease of the planet. All leading monetary systems of the world must be cancelled in bankruptcy proceedings, and replaced by a credit-system. Otherwise, no economic recovery of any part of the planet is possible. The new policy of Russia in cooperation with China is a crucial step in the right direction, but requires a continuation of the process of change now begun.
