LAROUCHEPAC:

Decoupling the Monetary System from the Dead Financial System
November 13, 2009 • 10:54AM

Recent moves by the Bank of England, coupled with the regulatory "reform" bill just proposed by Sen. Chris Dodd, suggest that the imperial monetary system is moving to decouple itself from the financial system, as a way of protecting itself from the growing disaster it created. As Lyndon LaRouche has stressed in recent weeks, the Anglo-Venetian empire is a monetary system, which rules the world by controlling the availability and price of money through a network of central banks. It is this apparatus which created the financial system which just collapsed, and is working to create its intended replacement, a global financial dictatorship.

The collapse of the global financial system, and the great bailout swindle which followed, have focused enormous public attention upon these central bank institutions whose rampant criminality make them vulnerable to public scrutiny. The Fed, in particular, has become a lightning rod for the anger of the American public, making the Obama Administration's plan to give more power to the Fed a political hot potato. This anger, which will only increase as the effects of the Fed's insane policies further damage what remains of the world's economy, pose a threat to the power of the Fed to serve its imperial masters.

It is in this context that the Dodd bill appears to come to the Fed's rescue. By removing the responsibility for regulating the financial system from the Fed, the bill would seem designed to shift much of that public attention away from the Fed to the new financial regulator, in the hope that the Fed could continue with its far more important role as a monetary authority.

The real issue, as LaRouche has insisted, is that the imperial monetary system must be replaced by a credit system. The empire will gladly tolerate some minor changes to the regulation of zombie banks, as a way of protecting that monetary system. Do not be fooled, and do not let them change the subject. We are not here to regulate the empire, but to destroy it.
