July 8, 2009 (LPAC)--The members of the National Surface Transportation Infrastructure Financing Commission, which has called for taxing drivers by the mile driven, are "clinically and criminally insane," Lyndon LaRouche stated today. The Commission's report, which we reported on here (http://www.larouchepac.com/node/10959), reflects both abysmal incompetence on economic matters and a shockingly fascist mind-set. LaRouche said that, as a public service, we should identify the members of the Commission which produced this piece of British Empire excrement:

Robert D. Atkinson (Chair) --President, Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, Washington, DC

Martin Shultz (Vice Chair)--Vice President, Government Affairs, Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, Phoenix, Arizona

Donald F. Carmody, Director, Two Rivers Financial Group, Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Mark Florian, Managing Director, First Reserve Corporation, Greenwich, Connecticut. Formerly a managing director with Goldman Sachs.

Bryan Grote, Principal, Mercator Advisors, LLC, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Bill Kennedy, County Commissioner, Yellowstone County, Billings, Montana
