"Intellectually Bankrupt and Careening Out of Control"

July 3, 2009 (LPAC)-- Yesterday Lyndon LaRouche characterized the Obama Presidency as "intellectually bankrupt and careening out of control." LaRouche was provoked to deliver this assessment by, among other things, the latest jobs figures, coming out of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Not only were job losses for June—467,000 net jobs lost—far worse than expected by the so-called experts. Since Obama was sworn in to office in late January, 3 million jobs have been lost—and 2.4 million jobs have been lost since the President signed his so-called stimulus package into law.

Apart from the fact that they are evil, LaRouche elaborated, the Obama White House is worse than utterly incompetent. "The President and his top advisors, led by Rahm Emanuel, are on a collision course with reality. They have zero competence on anything, and this is being seen by more and more people." They are, in LaRouche's words, "on a short, reckless ride into the abyss."

Nothing demonstrated this stunning disintegration more than Wednesday's so-called "town hall meeting" at the Annandale campus of Northern Virginia Community College, where President Obama made his latest pitch for the Administration's euthanasia schemes. The event was so scripted and stage-managed, that it was a total flop. The handful of questions taken from the audience were all pre-programmed, and all came from George Soros operatives, Obama campaign plants, or allied SEIU officials. And still, people were stunned at how poorly Obama handled the event! It was so tightly scripted that it made George W. Bush look positively spontaneous, in comparison. That is how bad things have gotten for Team Obama.

We know from top Democratic Party sources that the President is being urged to drop his berserker drive for the so-called health care reform, before his entire Presidency collapses. We know that former Sen. Tom Daschle, a month ago, tried to persuade the President to put the health-care legislation on hold, rather than face a stinging defeat, and there are indications that other very senior Democratic Senators have more recently tried the same. Instead of responding to these pleas, Rahm Emanuel, who is displaying some of the same Narcissistic symptoms as his boss, instead went to both the House and Senate Democratic caucuses recently, and demanded that they stick to the schedule, and deliver a health-care bill to the President, to be signed on October 1. And Thursday afternoon, Obama called a group of top House and Senate Democrats to deliver the same message: He wants both Houses to pass versions of his health-care bill before the end of July, and he wants a bill on his desk on October 1!

Behind this insane push is a straight-out thug operation. The Obama White House is flagrantly using the stimulus money to blackmail and extort cooperation from Congress. States, already facing the worst bankruptcy crisis in the history of the Republic, are being threatened with the demand to return the pittance of stimulus money they've gotten, if their Congressional delegations don't fall in lockstep behind the President's outright Nazi-like agenda. Rahm Emanuel has a political enemies list, comprised largely of Democrats who either backed Hillary Clinton during the primaries, or who sat on the fence. John Conyers, for example, is high up on Emanuel's hit parade. The recent White House veto of Sid Blumenthal, as a top advisor to Hillary Clinton at the State Department, is perhaps the clearest indication of this vindictiveness of the White House sycophants. If you had any doubts that LaRouche was totally on the mark in his April 11 webcast, exposing the President's Nero Complex, think again. It is now the most open secret in Washington: LaRouche called the shot on the President's achilles heel—his vindictive narcissism.

Given this state of affairs at the White House, it could not be more clear that, especially after Saturday's webcast, Lyndon LaRouche has emerged as the leading clarion voice for the Democratic Party and other opposition to the Obama madness. As the dialogue at the webcast illustrated, there is a growing body of serious thinkers, who are a de facto government-in-the-wings, to replace the fascist gaggle, now occupying key White House posts: Larry Summers, Peter Orszag, and, especially the ballerino-in-chief, Rahm Emanuel.

LaRouche's assessment on Thursday was that we have reached a break-point, where there is a growing institutional break with the Obama White House. We have to keep doing what we are doing. The only way to deal with a Narcissist is with ruthless, unrelenting honesty. With the entire financial system coming down this summer, we have a real shot at breaking the London/Wall Street fascist vice-grip over the Presidency. Everything that the Obama White House has touched has turned to crap. At some point, even a Narcissist like Obama can be forced to face the music.
