Russian Anti-Globalists Feature LaRouche Vs. "Vampires"

May 3, 2008 (LPAC) -- On May 1, the Russian Anti-Globalist Resistance web-posted a write-up of highlights from one of Lyndon LaRouche's presentations during his recent trip to Mexico, where LaRouche confronted the murderous attempt of the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) to block the PHLINO water development project. Headlined "Vampires Vs. People," the www.anti-glob.ru dispatch was based on coverage in {EIR Online}, and went as follows:

"Lyndon LaRouche, known for his accurate forecasts of the current financial crisis, recently spoke in Monterrey, Mexico, where irrigation works are under development -- dams, canals, and reservoirs, all of them deeded for the development of agriculture in arid zones. These extensive building plans are linked with the name of the late President of Mexico Jose Lopez Portillo, who made use of LaRouche's advice in the 1980s.

"The American economist and politician noted in his speech that the WWF's attempts to `conserve water,' by banning any human intervention into water resources, demonstrate not love for nature, but hatred of mankind. The proposals of the Fund, which is headed by Britain's Prince Philip, even include the destruction of already existing irrigation systems, which would deprive a huge part of the Earth's population of food, since 40% of water use is for agriculture.

"The Mexican vampire bat sucks blood from animals. As a protected species, it is on WWF posters. Indeed, it may be considered an emblem of the Fund, since the Fund's bans are also an attempt to suck the living blood out of Mexico's valleys, where agriculture exists only thanks to irrigation.

"The recently revealed threat of food shortages for Earth's inhabitants forces us to take a fresh look at the WTO, which has demanded reduced planting in many countires. Now land under cultivation is being expanded on an urgent basis, with WTO demands being thrown out the window -- as that organization itself will also be thrown out the window (even as Russia steps up its efforts to join!).

"The Earth's inhabitants should get rid of vampires that love nature, but not people!"
