British/Spook Ops Set Up The Case Against Governor Spitzer
April 8, 2008 (LPAC)--The Federal sex-scandal case that led to the March 17 resignation of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was concocted by elements of the British/fascist machine which is targeting the United States as a nation, and seeking to crush the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign. Central to the Spitzer affair were HSBC, Britain's largest bank, persisting as an imperial agency since its creation to conduct much of the world's criminal narcotics traffic; and the notorious Roger Stone, a dirty tricks specialist operating at the intersection of British intelligence, Nazi politics, and organized crime.
Eliot Spitzer's reputation as the New York Attorney General who investigated or criminally prosecuted many Wall Street and international financiers helped lead to his 2006 election as governor. After taking office in January, 2007, Governor Spitzer drove to win Democratic control of the New York State Senate. The Democrats have a majority in the Assembly (lower house), and a two-member shift in the state Senate would give the Democrats control over legislative matters that bear heavily on the regulation of New York City and, crucially, the Wall Street financial sector.
On May 14, 2007, Governor Spitzer endorsed Hillary Clinton's candidacy for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Spitzer became the leader of New York state's Clinton delegation that included both Senator Clinton and her husband, the former President.
In June, 2007, New York State Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno hired political operative Roger Stone (see Stone's pedigree, below) for $20,000 per month as the strategist for the Republican attack against Governor Spitzer.
Joe Bruno was forced to fire Stone on August 22, 2007, after investigators found that Stone had made an anonymous, frightening phone call to Spitzer's ailing 83-year-old father, cursing and threatening the elder Spitzer with arrest.
Following his official separation from the New York Republican Party apparatus, Stone created a {527} committee called ``Citizens Committee for Checks and Balances'' devoted to attacking Spitzer. The 527 entities can take anonymous contributions for political uses.
In October, 2007, HSBC, the London holding company for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp., notified the U.S. Internal Revenue Service that an HSBC investigation had found that two firms to which HSBC had transferred money were shell companies, which turned out to be fronts for the Emperors Club, a prostitution ring that the FBI had been surveilling since at least 2006.
On November 19, Roger Stone's attorney sent a letter to the FBI, saying that Stone had been informed that New York Governor Spitzer was using the Emperors Club. With this tip, potential financial infractions based on the HSBC revelations could then serve as a pretext for the U.S. Justice Department, under Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, to begin surveillance and prosecutorial action against Spitzer.
After Hillary Clinton's surprise victory in the January 8, 2008 New Hampshire primary, Roger Stone created a new, Mafia-style anti-Hillary Clinton {527} political committee entitled ``Citizens United Not Timid,'' with the sole purpose of hammering the committee's acronym (CUNT) into rage-filled fascist circles, against Mrs. Clinton.
On March 6, the Boston Globe reported its survey of superdelegates showed a pro-Clinton shift, to ``stand pat until the primaries are over,'' i.e., that the superdelegates were resisting the pressure to shift from Clinton to Barack Obama. The Globe reported that Governor Eliot Spitzer said he was holding firm for Hillary Clinton.
The next day, March 7, the FBI informed Spitzer they had tapes of his calls in connection with the prostitution ring, and he announced his resignation on March 12.
- Stone and British Special Operations -
Roger Stone attained his hellish fame as a partner of Charles R. Black, Jr., in the 1980s Conservative Revolution U.S. political wars.
Stone's political career began in 1972 as a teen-aged operative of the Committee to Reelect the President, Nixon's CREEP. Stone wrote a check to Nixon's Presidential opponent Sen. George McGovern and falsely attributed it to socialists; then he managed a spy inside the McGovern campaign to manufacture slanders and scandals.
In 1975 Roger Stone founded the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC), together with Charles Black, who became his political sidekick, and Terry Dolan, a gay-bashing homosexual who later died of AIDs. NCPAC was largely financed by Tom Ellis, a North Carolina multimillionaire who sponsored eugenics race crusades and ran the funding for Senator Jesse Helms. NCPAC would be used to help fund and conduct the ``contras'' initiatives in cocaine-trafficking and gun-running. Stone reportedly first met New York Mafia boss Anthony (``Fat Tony'') Salerno in 1979, in Roy Cohn's Manhattan townhouse. Stone later related that Cohn and Cohn's client Salerno explained to Stone that U.S. official processes, up to the Surpeme Court, could be fixed.
The following year, 1980, Roger Stone, as eastern states' manager for the Ronald Reagan Presidential campaign, and Roy Cohn teamed up to ``fix'' New York state. Long after the statute of limitations had expired on the caper, Stone explained that he took a suitcase full of money from Cohn -- the main mafia lawyer -- and delivered it to a lawyer connected to the tiny New York Liberal Party. That Party then decided to put John Anderson on its ballot line as a third party, taking votes away from Democrat Jmmy Carter and giving the state to Stone's Republican clients. In 1982 Stone ran the U.S. Senate campaign of Prescott Bush, Jr. (uncle of the current President, George W. Bush). Stone brought onto the staff Roy Cohn's cousin and protege, Dick Morris, who later on advised and helped sabotage the Bill Clinton Presidency.
The notorious Black, Manafort and Stone firm was created in the early 1980s in the context of fascist, British intelligence and organized crime operations. The firm was hired by the Bahamas Islands (British Commonwealth) regime of Prime Minister Lynden Oscar Pindling to lobby the U.S. government, amid reports that Pindling had been paid off by Carlos Lehder's narco-killers to use the islands as a main base for cocaine smuggling into the U.S. The American government did not crack down on Pindling, and in 1983 Pindling was knighted by Queen Elizabeth.
In 1984 Tom Ellis hired Black, Manafort and Stone to run the re-election campaign of Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC). The race was tight, and Helms agreed to a bargain -- Cohn got New York Jewish millionaires to not contribute to Helms' Democratic opponent, and Helm's started taking the side of the Israeli right wing in foreign policy. With NCPAC money, the Roger Stone team in the Helms campaign was in effect a division of the World Anti-Communist League, the initiative of the London-allied operatives running the Chilean Pinochet fascist regime, and secret police, and old German Nazi networks.
Roger Stone currently reports on his own web site, stonezone.com, that in that same year, 1984, Roy Cohn passed along from Cohn's Mafia operative, Fat Tony Salerno, the information that John Zaccaro, husband of Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro, ``was the landlord for warehouse space in Queens that was being rented for the production and distribution of pornographic movies.... Salerno ... knew a few things about what was going on in the underworld. The story became page one fodder for the New York Post, further sinking the [Democratic] ticket.''
- McCain and the Florida Vote Fraud Machine -
In the Eliot Spitzer case, Roger Stone claims that the information on Spitzer's liaison with prostitutes came from a person whom the Miami Herald described as ``a high-end call girl at an adult-themed club called Miami Velvet.'' It has been reported elsewhere that this ``adult-themed club'' is actually an enterprise for ``swingers''; Stone was fired from the 1996 Bob Dole Presidential campaign after tabloids published photos of Stone and his wife soliciting ``swinger'' sex partners. Stone is now officially employed by Rothstein, Rosenfeldt and Adler. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, law firm spcializes in London-vectored offshore investments, anti-labor-union legal cases and Republican vote-suppression efforts. The firm "bundles" donations to the John McCain campaign. The firm's leader, Scott Rothstein, has co-chaired McCain fundraising events in Florida, and has hosted in his own home appearances by McCain himself and by Senator Joe Lieberman (I, Conn.) on McCain's behalf.
Roger Stone heads the firm's poltical consulting operations. The August, 2007 threatening call made to Spitzer's father was traced to a New York telephone used by the Rothstein Rosenfeldt law firm. Stone has deep fascist roots in the area. In 2000, Stone field-managed the ``Brooks Brothers Riot,'' in which Republican operatives stormed offices where Florida's Presidential votes were being recounted, and forced an end to the recount.
Stone's long-time partner, Charles Black, now runs their old firm (formerly Black, Manafort and Stone, now BKSH) under the auspices of a London owner, WPP Group. On this London payroll, Black currently serves as the lead political adviser to John McCain's Republican campaign.
