The LaRouche Youth Movement Intervene on Felix Rohatyn
Washington D.C.-- March 11, 2008 (LPAC)--This is a live account given by a LaRouche Youth Movement member after an intervention on that fascist Felix Rohatyn.
On my way to the Senate Banking Committee hearing, a feeble old man shuffled onto my elevator. The smell confirmed indeed, that this pruny old fart was none other than Felix George Rohatyn, former US ambassador of France and founder of the New York Municipal Assistance Corporation. (See Felix Rohatyn files) At a loss and unprepared to be in the presence of so influential a figure, I quickly shook his hand, and noted what a pleasure it was to meet him in person.
"My Organization [LaRouche Political Action Committee –ed.]has covered you a lot!" I exclaimed. He was flattered. I handed him a folded up copy of our "Pay As You Go: The Public Private Restroom" flier.
"Mr. Rohatyn, I was talking to a friend of mine last night and our discussion prompted a question only you could answer." He leaned in. He was really very old, and obviously couldn't hear me very well. I spoke up.
"Were you born a fascist, or was there a point where you consciously decided to become a fascist later in life?"
He recoiled with a look of disgust, showing his big yellow teeth and shaking his head. "Young man," he said, "you're not very nice."
He exited the elevator as the other occupants shifted uncomfortably. He opened the folded leaflet, examined his likeness, and promptly dropped it onto the floor.
