October 1, 2007 (LPAC)--One of the parties to the suit told LPAC organizers that the suit is being filed by many and possibly all of the 800 families victimized by the scheme and that it names banks including Suntrust, Wells Fargo, Chase Home, Washington Mutual and the ubiquitous Countrywide for complicity in the scam. The alleged principal scammer, Wesley A. Snyder of Personal Financial Management is protected from lawsuits while under Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings, but his banking business partners are not. 400 people attended a mass meeting on the crisis in Reading, PA. last week and another is planned for Lancaster to which all local elected officials and members of the Congressional delegation have been invited. Organizers of the event, who are very interested in Lyndon LaRouche's HBPA proposal, told the elected officials that there would be a seat with their name on it at the meeting, and they better show up if they didn't want the media to report that their seat was empty.
