October 1, 2007 (LPAC)--Missouri State Representative Juanita Walton was interviewed on Tampa Bay Florida radio this morning. She called for organizing Congress to back the HBPA. "We have to see that people will stay in their homes and not be put out on the streets.... We really have to do something." She said that in her home area of St. Louis there has been 115% increase in foreclosures. "It's a real crisis." She is now in Washington, D.C. attending the Congressional Black Caucus to see that the HBPA "is on the agenda" and "is at the top" of the discussion.
Radio host Henry Raines said that he has been criticized for having LaRouche supporters on his show and asked Rep. Walton why she is supporting LaRouche's proposals. She said she drew on LaRouche because "if it makes sense I listen." She said that LaRouche has been totally right on the need to build infrastructure and putting people back to work. That's why she supported him for President in 2004.
