August 23, 2007 (LPAC)--A Democratic Committee activist in Louisiana who is also nationally active in the National Association of Realtors, said today of Lyndon LaRouche's proposed Homeowners and Bank Protection Act of 2007, "I agree 5,000% with this approach" to the mortgage-foreclosure and credit crisis.
Fred Heunefeld of Monroe said, "This is exactly what we need. We need to get the local officials, up to the governor, to bank on the Congress and the Senate to get this approach through.
"I'm a realtor and an active Democrat," said Heunefeld. I've met with mayors of Louisiana to get a coalition and a solution and take it to the governor; I met last week with four state representatives and two state senators, who are all unhappy and searching. I'm getting agreement from them on this approach. I'm meeting with my Congressman tomorrow at my home, and the subject is the real estate crisis and the bank crisis. I will rattle cages, because this is exactly what we need to do."
