Since our last update on October 18, Congressman Tim Ryan (D-OH) signed on as a cosponsor to Marcy Kaptur's H.R. 1489, the Ohio State Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters passed a resolution of support, and we were made aware of a support resolution passed by the Lincoln County Wisconsin Board of Supervisors from September 20. Stay tuned for a more thorough updated picture, but for now, I advise all organizers for Glass Steagall to review and take to heart the urgency of the situation, as demanded by Barack Obama's drive for global-imperial dictatorship.
As of recently, democratic movements are sprouting across the nation which lack the will and cannot form a single coherent demand. Such groups are effectively mobs designed on the model of the Oligarchical Principle, and are now being exposed to the coordinated lie that Glass-Steagall will not work.
The world financial system is marching towards its deathbed. Several developments over the last few days have continued to reveal the true state of the financial-monetary system.

The huge disparity between the top 1 and the lower 99 is an effect of a degenerating system, and it's abhorrent. I don't think anyone with half a brain can say otherwise. I have so far been disappointed not to find this headline anywhere in the news. But I think it is only fair to state it in those terms.
In addition to the escalation of a U.S. presence in Libya, now with boots on the ground (contractors at that), Obama announced to Congress yesterday that he would be deploying 100 U.S. troops into Uganda to intervene against the Lord's Resistance Army and to capture the lead member Joseph Kony. Those U.S. troops apparently began arriving on the ground on Wednesday.
